As a native of Sylhet, I have a strong affinity for its inhabitants. My commitment to public service has been and will always be motivated by the welfare and advancement of our citizens. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in a variety of leadership positions within our community, each of which has strengthened my advocacy for Sylhet’s residents. My dedication extends well beyond empty words; it translates into unremitting, unrelenting effort devoted to bettering the lives of our people.

I resonate profoundly with the vision of our Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In addition, the transformative leadership of our current Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, strengthens my resolve and directs my course.

I am extremely honored to be a member of the Awami League, a political party with a long legacy of defending the rights of the people of Bangladesh. The Bangladeshi independence conflict was a defining moment in the history of our nation. This was a war fought not only for freedom, but also for justice and democracy; we emerged victorious from its ashes, paving the way for the establishment of a prosperous nation that flourishes today.
